      On Screen Manitoba increase opportunity and recognition of the Manitoba media production industry by sharing information and facilitating connections for industry professionals. Their membership includes both individuals (producers, writers, directors and other industry professionals) and organizations (production companies, labour groups, distributors, broadcasters, service suppliers, training bodies and exhibitors) who work in all genres and formats in English, French and Aboriginal languages.

      The Winnipeg Film Group was founded in 1974 and is a charitable, artist-run organization dedicated to promoting the art of cinema. They serve as a resource for Manitoba filmmakers and video artists, providing access to affordable training, mentorship, production funding, experimentation opportunities, production and post production equipment and facilities, and local, national and international programming and distribution.

      Video Pool Media Arts Centre is Manitoba’s only artist-run centre dedicated to the exploration of technology-based art. We provide artists with presentation, development, research, and education opportunities in creative technologies such as sound, video, electronics, Virtual Reality, and physical computing. Our presentation facilities include our 2nd floor Poolside Gallery (technology-based art practice), and A/V Performance Venue.

      Daryl Perry, Luthier, has been making classical guitars since 1982. Early in his career, he was fortunate to attend a workshop with Jose Romanillos, who introduced him to the central ideas of the Torres school. He has been working with these ideas ever since, refining his understanding of them and developing the craftsmanship that brings them to life.

      North Nassau Printmakers’ Allan Geske has been a printmaker since the mid-1970s and he employs various techniques in his art such as etching, engraving, relief and mixed media. His images often include the prairie landscape: maps, charts and blueprints that locate our place in the world and language that integrates the letters, words, symbols and markings of the draughtsman, poet and educator.
